Any fellow ski tourists interested in heading up to the Snowfield/Colonial area next week? Would also like to ski/climb Mt. Shuksan. Either trip would be an alpine start + big vertical. Alpine touring equipment or telemark is fine, prior backcountry experience, including glacier travel, would be nice. Avalanche safety equipment is essential. Neither trip requires hardcore. I like to travel medium speed and am a safety-first kind of guy. Would be happy to drive.

CM I tweaked my knee on Silver Star 2 weeks ago but it's getting better! I'm hoping that it's ready for Shuksan this coming Sunday. I've skied the Sulphide before but didn't summit so that would be my goal. Not the best forecast at this point but not too bad. Interested? Don
