Last night the beaver dam at what I think is McLeod lake two miles up the North Fork of the Snoqualmie let go. It flooded much of the valley below and closed two roads. The gravel North Fork and the paved North Fork Rd S.E. that leads to Ernies Grove and the access to the North Fork closed this morning. I drove up there and checked out the road. Its not as bad as I thought, but technically still closed.
Pics.
Im posting this because I can only imagine what happened to McLeod lake. I suspect its drained. I wanted Brian and the High Laker/Trailblazer people to be aware of the changed lake conditions.

What I'd like to know is how you mistyped Ford instead of Fork, seeing as the D and K are like 5 inches apart on the keyboard?
Looks like an interesting situation, typos aside. I'm a little curious to see what has become of the lake too.
Im sure that I dont know what youre talking about.
Wise guy.

Was the beaver dam at the head of the lake? Perhaps that wasn't a run of the mill lightening storm, after all.
I'd love to see pics of the lake. This one is from 2007.
