SummitHound - are you aware of the additional 3-mile (one way) walk up the road to the trailhead (per http://www.fs.fed.us/gpnf/recreation/current-conditions/mta-climbing-report.shtml )?

Summithound sent me this pm yesterday: "At this point in time the weather for Saturday is looking good with partly cloudy skies and only a slight chance of snow showers. I'm sort of feeling inclined to do it in a day. This would involve driving down there Friday afternoon, camping at the trailhead, waking up extremely early Saturday morning, climbing, staying at a hotel Saturday night then driving back on Sunday. It looks like there is still about three miles of road walk to get to the trailhead."
