Sure, why not? This bad weather messed up our plans to Darrington, so we decided to go to Si for some reason. After all, its been a while since I have been up there . There was a rather large group of WTA people playing in the mud. We decided to take the Talus Loop Trail and it was about 100 times better then the main one. We didn't see a single person on the trail, which winds up through a nice talus slope and past several big trees. If your going to hike Si, take the loop! It was very wet, cloudy, and muddy. I wanted to do Dixie Peak and Tennerif, but my friend was a little wet, so we came down. It was a nice hike in the rain!
(Whoa! Why is one picture so big, I wanted it to be thumnail size but it wont do it )
I did Mount Si Wednesday.. my views weren't any better then either. Here's my ugly mug on the summit.
Here's the summit rock with the wonderful views south.
