We managed to dodge some of the rain on this typical Memorial Day weekend. Not enough rain to ruin a pretty hike but enough rain to keep many folks away. The trail to Lost Lake is snow-free and there are snow-patches here and there at Manastash Lake. Not a dramatic hike but a pretty hike with a greater variety of flowers than we expected. Incidentally, the gravel road that leads to this trailhead is loaded with photo opportunities.
