Didn't want to spend much $$ on gas today so settled for an urban walk in the neighborhood. Found a nifty urban park between the West Seattle bridge and Alki Beach Park -- it's Jack Block Park (Port of Seattle) and is pretty interesting with views of the industrial section of the region, views of Seattle, and flowers here and there. Then stopped at the Duamiwsh Head Greenspace (hoping for a trail) but no trail to be found. Drove on from there and stopped at the Log Museum only to find it closed. But I stayed a while anyway as there were a couple of friendly cats on the porch. About 3 miles of walking, all in all.
