Grabbed number 100 with Don Brooks on Friday. We left the car at 0745 and and took 2 hours to get to Nada Lakes.
Nada Goats
Between the two lakes we drifted to the right up into the drainage north of Mount Temple. Great terrain through here.

We headed south towards the summit eventually reaching the snow gully leading to the final bit of rock climbing.
Temple (L of C) Taunting Goat Snow Ascent
From the top of the snow we scrambled up class 3 blocks to a notch in the ridge. We scrambled up the first pitch (30' of 5.0) and then set up a belay at the crux slab.
Leading 100
Once on top, I brought Don up and we enjoyed a good hour on the summit. Haze dominated the scene, but Mount Temple proved to be a great way to finish the list in just about every way.

Two rappels got us back down close to the packs and gear we had left near the top of the snow.
Initiating Rap 1
Back down the snow, through the cool larch glades, and on to finding dicey and fwb who were repeating a trip Don and I had done last August to The Mole and Three Musketeers.
Meeting Friends
Had a relaxed hike out trying to see if I could name all 100 peaks in the Back Court. Of course I couldn't do it, but here they are:
Many thanks to the friends who not only made it possible, but fun as well. Now, lets go ski them all!

Congratulations, Randy!
Did Don finish it, too? In any case, you wrapped it up in great company. I can always say I knew you back when you were still a pineapple.

Way to go Randy, I knew you were close. I am glad to see that I am not the only one with the list printed out and hanging. Hopefully some day I can do the same.

Again, congratulations! Topped off our trip catching up with you and hiking out. Also fun while on The Mole watching your progress with the monocular.

I'm intrigued by the terrain then got sucked into the "list" which is news to me but not news at all - - congratulations Randy!

I'll buy you a beer for getting that done, should I ever happen to cross paths at a social or after a hike!

Congratulations on finishing this list. We have climbed more than a few of the Backcourt peaks together and I am enriched by all of those memories.
