Beautiful photos guys. The Winds have been on my hike bucket list since I was first told about them years ago...some day...your report has refueled that road trip idea.

Thanks for the photos! I love them Wind Rivers! Backpacked several times, way long ago; ack in late 1960s; and in 1970, too! The place is seriously fantastic!

Was there before in 2002. Alot more use on the trails I noticed. Trails that in places were 4 lanes wide. Seems that the word has gotten out. But still the most beautiful place I have ever hiked!!!

I'm really working on conditioning towards going back this year! Lord willing, no dog surgery or deaths in the family will stop me this year....

mmmm.. one of the best trips of my life...first time there...bumping it for a few interested parties...
Putting a trip back into the winds....for around JULY 15TH this coming summer...
leave wed pm....camp thurs,fri....then hike sat-sat or sunday...
