lol, they need a little disclaimer
"alcohol was used in the production of this video"
I was wondering what I should do with that stack of partial canisters I have sitting in the garage. Maybe I'll wait until there's snow on the ground though....

Yeah, I've heard canister fires are a huge problem in November after five straight days of pouring rain LOL.

It says right here on page six of the campfire manual that such behavior is extremely dangerous.
Nice video Pat. I enjoyed it quite a bit at the party Saturday night.

Layback, would you be put out of I, um, made use of that photo from time to time? I find that I frequently have need for such a response...and I can only hope that will continue and that i will not slip into late stage adulthood at some point.
heh heh.

Fun experiment. Would be cool to shoot it with a high speed camera next time.
Layback, is that the Mountie's campfire manual?

Stupid, dangerous, and wasteful. Don't they know that they could've used that propane to cook up their meth?

We were just discussing the high speed video option....but where to get one?
The explosions are played at 1/4 speed, BTW. Movie Maker 2.6, free download, runs (poorly...crashes a lot) on Win 7, is way better than the Movie Maker provided with that OS. Its basically the same as the XP version. It enables you to change vid speed faster or slower 2x, 4x, 8x, etc.

Some of the point and shoot offerings with CMOS sensors can shoot high speed video at a lower resolution but I'm not sure how good it is. Dpreview said the Casio EX-FH25 was a "good choice if you are specifically looking for a camera with high speed capture capabilities" but indicated high speed video was a gimmick in the Casio Exilim EX-FH100 review.

Actually, what you're feeling is 'hygge'. The situation itself is 'hyggelig'.
