I am giving my first ever night photography workshop. Everyone is always curious about how I do my night photography, so here's an opportunity for you to learn how I do it and how you can do it too! Here's the details:
Night photography workshop, April 30 2011.
Night photography workshop, April 30 2011.
WHERE: Gasworks Park, Seattle WHEN: Sat, April 30, 2011; 7:51pm (30 min before sunset) until last person leaves (date subject to change if poor weather). COST: $50 per person CONTACT: Email me (Steph) at sabegg@gmail.com if you are interested in attending. In this hands-on workshop, I will teach you how to better understand your camera and how to take brilliant nighttime photographs. This is a hands-on workshop, so bring your camera and your questions! Camera gear is not provided. The workshop is limited to 8 people. There might be another one in the future if this one is popular. Click here to download a pre-workshop worksheet on exposure settings. See my website for examples of my night photography: www.stephabegg.com.

Awesome Steph. Way to put this together. Night photography is one of the most difficult skills and concepts to grasp.

Tell me about it...I recently took a nice star trail photo in Utah but it was spotted with so much noise I didn't know what to do with it! I would consider myself a graduate from producing noisy photos wink.gif

Thanks for spreading the word! (Note that I uploaded an updated flyer and deleted the old one, if you had happened to reference the old one on your flickr site).

This sounds like an excellent value. I promised my wife I'd watch the kiddo while she goes to the Sounders game though. frown.gif Any chance you'll offer this again if there's interest?

I probably will, if there is a full house on this one. I think if I can get the word out about it, it will be popular. Everyone is always curious about my night photography, so this is a great way to find out how I do it and how YOU can do it too!! Bring your kid along...=).

I've love to, but he's 2-1/2, has a 7:30 bed time, and has a history of running into lakes with all of his clothes on (no joke). paranoid.gif I'll try to work something out but would definitely like to attend Steph

Email me (sabegg@gmail.com) and I'll add you to the waiting list. The workshop is all full right now, but there are a couple who are "maybe"s until they confirm their schedules....
