Here's a quick review. I ordered a variety of vittles. A big bonus for me since most of the time i hike/backpack solo, is the single serving size's up.gif up.gif They are available in 2 serving size packages. The package is a bit award one filled with water it will not stand on it's own.
But there is a simple solution just place it in the pot used to boil the water.
Hawk VittleS are dehydrated not freeze dried. I found the crab fettuccine quite tasty. Note the ingredient is Crab not Pollock, or some Crab like simulation biggrin.gif

Some of those look great, but they're kind of expensive... $8 for a single serving of oatmeal is sort of outrageous, actually. I just found some "Better Oats" oatmeal on sale at Safeway for $1 per 5 servings package. Great stuff. I passed on it before, because it was overpriced, but now they're getting rid of it. I bought enough to last for most of the summer. Nice to see some alternatives/competition in the hiking food marketplace.
