Fisher Lake |

Annual family hike , we intended to go to highest Jewel Lake. Considerable snow in first mile from Tonga TH. It was then clear on traverse until just near pass. A few patches down to pass with trail flooded in spots. Started up to lakes but too steep on snow for kids in tennies. Nice camp at pass with a few mosquitos in the evening  one other party. On Sunday went to Fisher Lake, snow most of the way and many false flags off route . The trail is overgrown by lake but lake is clear. nobody else around but it looke like one party had been there a week or so ago. On the way back my 8 yr. old and I climbed up Mt. Sawyer, trail is snow free except last 100' great view both to N and S.

It is Unnamed, but it goes by Palisades and is listed as unnamed in Wolcott's book.
