Depends on what else you plan on putting in it - if you add meat or vegetables that is. Personally I would say 3/4 cup at minimum.

Pouch of chicken, oil cured olives, shallots, preserved lemons, probably some almonds. Oil/vinegar dressing.

I used to think so too until I made moroccan stew to put on top of it. Now I love it. Sometimes I have it for dinner plain with roasted pinenuts and parmesan cheese grated on top.

That saladlike food thing is one of the few I can do straight-up freezer bag style. It's deelicious!!
