Let's see, the Yankees have one how many Championships? 27, had to Google. How many have the Red Sux won? 7, again had to Google. Now, how many World Series have the Mariners won? Lol, obviously no need to Google, and likely never will be.

Go placidly amid the noise and waste, and remember what comfort there may be in owning a piece thereof.

Dude! You are totally in the wrong thread! horsey.gif I have to admit I took to giggling and chortling all around my house last night as poor sad faced Pay-Rod struck out...what a loser. He and the rest of the Yankee fans that looked so disappointed as they left can suck it. party.gif

Unless you're new to the game, you know we're used to it! hihi.gif

Congrats to the Red Sox fans here, the team played extremely well throughout the season and post-season. I wish Ortiz was a Mariner.

He was originally signed by the Mariners and played in their minor league system, but they traded him to Twins, who traded him to Sox. So thanks Ms. And by the way, thanks again for Veritek and Lowe.

Fun night at the Safe last night. I very much enjoyed watching the Queen get his first loss of the year. There was a lot of red in the stadium. Saw a couple Steelheads fans too. Turn-back-the-clock night was a hoot. I liked the 1940s theme. Didn't see any Mariners photos or trivia from the 40s. That's expansion baseball I guess.

Took my son to his first ever big league game. We did it the right way and went to Fenway Park. Homeboy scored Dustin Pedroia's batting gloves while waiting for autographs. And he started a lets Go Red Sox chant.

Well we got the matchup that America wanted. Two of the oldest franchises in MLB squaring off in the fall classic. First game will be an overwhelming defeat of the Dodgers by double digits. Sox in 4!

In my family we all eventually became Mets fans after the Brooklyn Dodgers betrayed us before my birth. I got my start with the Amazing Mets of 1969. That said, I could never support an American League team, especially one from Boston, so go Dodgers.

For tonight’s game I predict a 10-1 shellacking of the Dodgers by the Red Sox. They will be mentally beaten after that. Sox in 4.

Exciting game last night. I watched the game on YouTube in the car while my wife drove to PDX. And then I watched the game in bed with my wife at the hotel. And then I watched the game alone while my wife slept. And then I went to bed at 12:30... Eovaldi is a stud. Shame the Sox lost. I think ERod will likely pitch tonight. Sox will probably lose, while saving the arms of relief pitchers (hope I’m wrong). Sale will go in game 5, which the Sox will win. And then Price will win on home soil in Game 6. Goodbye Baseball! Boomstick!!! Bring Your Dog to SafeCo Day rules!!!
