Its always nice to head down into Grand Valley during the week. Gladys Lake wasnt crowded at all. There were a moderate amount of biting flies and mosquitos, but that can be expected. There were plenty of deer as always, and a bear came down to the lake on wednesday evening. I caught several brook trout. There still lots of snow on the way up to the pass and along the ridge. It was fun sliding back down, though. All in all it was a good trip.
