I'm looking for a small lightweigh/ultralight pack or bag to carry a water bottle, snacks, first aid stuff and a poncho and/or extra shirt on side trips. I have an Eagle Creek waist pack that works OK, but it weighs almost a pound. I'm looking for something that weighs 8 oz. or less. The best thing I have found so far is the $7.95 Claymore Mine Bag under "Bags" at www.omahas.com (I had one of these when I got out of the army but wore it out). I'd rather have something in lightweight Nylon. Any alternatives?
