Messing around on the internet came across the below thing labeled Fraternity Snoqualmie Nudist? Looks like they have a pool. It is just south of the Chirico Trail on Tiger Mountain. Anyone know anything about this?

Funny I followed an old trail off Chirico maybe about half way up that went down and met a gravel road (which looks like the road that goes by the camp). At that point I just turned around. Looks like had I walked down I would have seen the turnoff/gate.

I have been by that place several times when trail running. I've seen several nudies (boots and socks only) hiking the trial nearby.

I am not a sexual prude by any means, but I have never understood the allure of this lifestyle. There are about 3 things best done w/o some sort of clothing/support(outdoor underwater swimming at night is one) but things like croquet, bicycling, lawn mowing, sharpening your chain saw, bbqing....with pieces of you hanging about????? rant.gif rant.gif rant.gif tom

Tom, it's not a sexual thing. If you saw the nudists that hike in the raw near this place, you'd be well aware of that biggrin.gif

Yeah, I've heard of it. My parents met there in 1959 and are still active members. They will even be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary up there later this year. I stopped going as a teenager as I had other interests, but have visited on occasion since then. Just a word of advice tigermn, if you venture down there on your rare Chirico Trail jaunts, put the camera away. Edited to add: I feel like I've read that 'History of Fraternity Snoqualmie' before. hmmm.gif

It's been there as long as I can remember. My uncle who lived on Tiger was a member ( mom didn't want us kids to know) and it's been featured on Evening Magazine.

Well at most I would walk by while exploring the road systems but I wouldn't try and venture inside the property. lol.gif

FS hosts an annual 5K Bare Buns Fun Run open to the public for those who want to brave a clothing-optional run. It is an out-and-back up a hill on a gravel road, which must be part of their property since there are naked people running on it. A challenging run, clothed or unclothed.

Ask them if they remember the polka band that plays there. I have a bunch of musician friends that play in it and they love that gig.
