My gift to you all. Since many of you don't have the liberty of taking days off during the week to have 8 miles of ocean to yourself I thought I would bring you with me. Below is a link to a short film, I video taped my solo trip from the Ozette trailhead to Cape Alava, to the Makah Ranger Station then all the way to the Norwegian Memorial. Watch it till the end. About 24 miles in crazy rain and tides...Granola girl style.
WATCH IT. NOW.

ENJOY!!!!
Possible trip report up later.

This is good, GG! A creative log of an exuberant, goofy, contemplative soul who does not mind the rain. And likes Denny's.
Hopefully there will be a trip report.... |

It seems you can fly like a butterfly, dance like a bear, and strut like a duck. Coolio

Got lost in the
Rideup to the

Man sends the ray of the electric light
Sends the impulse
Through the air
Down to home....

A movie star now, and nice cartwheel.
I can see this going viral on the interwebs.

Granola Girl, after watching your video, I have to say that I will probably never be able to look at the Cape Alava trail the same...
With all your jumping, skipping etc etc I am glad that you only crashed once... or at least only showed us one crash...
That was fun... thanks for sharing...

I think your Dad needs to get you corked boots for your birthday. Thanks for the excellent and entertaining (as usual) trip (no pun intended) report. Looking forward to the continuation. As your Uncle Mike said (with minor editing): That nut didn't fall far very from the tree.
