Why don't we have a FS and WTB area? I see a lot of gear for sale in the gear talk section, but it would be kinda nice to have a forum just for posting that kind of stuff. Other than that, awesome site!

The one button seems to work; no need to clutter. It would be helpful if every post that had items for sale read like this:

Just post in the gear forum. None of the topics in that forum fall off the first page that quickly so doesn't really warrant a separate forum.

I do feel for the OP of this thread. Even though the FS item lasts a while, the people searching for the gear for sale have to do a little bit of extra looking around. There are three great examples of websites that decided on making a category for selling gear. Cascade Climbers, SummitPost, and Mountain Project. They knew that it would indeed be used well.

Forum has been added. I moved the majority of FS WTB threads to the new forum but let me know if I missed anything. Feel free to leave photography stuff in the photography forum (or PM if you want something moved back) if you feel it would more visible there, but the gear forum was getting pretty cluttered with FS and WTB items. Enjoy! If anyone has a better name for the forum feel free to chime in.
