Bryan, Jacob and I climbed Gunn Peak and "Tailgunner" last Tuesday. Ryan P came along but opted not to go for summits. We found the trail was not as difficult to locate as it might seem. Redwic has an excellent route description on SummitPost.
Scrambling
Summit Block
Hidden Gully
Exaggerated Camera Angle
North Face Ledge
Bryan On The Summit
Gunn Lake
Jacob And Spire Mountain
The trail was steep and there were several scramble sections. Highlights included the hidden gully, the ledge on the north face and finding another Fay Pullen register on the summit of Tailgunner. Ryan saw a bear near a tarn while he was waiting for us. I swam in that tarn and I could swear I saw some bear hair floating in it.
Excellent! Hot Tub with a View is an awesome shot. My fav. Wow, Gunn Lk is just thawing out. Poor fishies won't be getting in much growth time this year.

Tarn on the edge of the world is amazing. IMO, this is one of the most interesting scrambles in the cascades. Close to the road, but not done very often.
