#1 is the one on 4th ave S in Seattle, ie, the first Costco ever built. It's actually been rebuilt, so maybe it should be #1A...

Thank you for clarifying about # 1 store.. I assumed it was in Kirkland, "kirkland" brand and all.
BTW, there are no jackets on Kirkland Costco.

I've been in three different Costcos this week and none of them had that jacket. I wonder if #1A is the only one.

I would say I'd try the local one here (Bellingham), but more than likely anything good has been bought in bulk by our Northern friends...

I found combo rain jacket/rain pants for $50 today. I'm not really a membrane-geek, but it looks identical to the material used on the Marmot Precip jackets.

At the Woodinville Costco right now. Down jackets (I think Eddie Bauer but I don't quite recall) - $40 for women's, $45 for men's. Not super puffy. I tried on a W small and it fit decently, though I wouldn't be able to fit too many other bulky layers underneath. Decent color selection (well, not for the men so much, who have a choice of black, slightly less black, and somewhat watered down black ). No info on the label about the fill #.
Also Merino wool base layers, $20 each. Men's and women's, some color selection. They look good on the package. Anyone buy these?

Check the label Yana. Last years 'merino' base layers were 11% merino, 89% marketing.

I just bought a few pair of "trail socks" at Costco this weekend. They had some fancy Wigwam (liked their socks in the past) brand @ 3pair/$13, but upon closer inspection they were only 20% Merino. They had Kirkland Signature brand (80% merino) @ 4pair/$12. I got the Kirkland.

In my experience they tend to run small. Wish they had XL.

Hmmmm...I washed them, but didn't actually try them on. I'll try them tonight and see how they fit. I'd hate tight socks.

Last time I bought a batch of the Costco merino sox, they ran large.
