http://www.geocaching.com/  One more reason to hike all  the way out there.  None in the National Parks though, but national forests and state parks have plenty.

yet another reason to get out there.. similiar in basic nature to geocaching, the pacific nw version tends to lean more towards mountains and out of the way areas than the majority of the caches found on geocaching. same basic premise, hide and seek via gps, just a few more members that like scrambles and mountain tops on terracaching.

This site is brand new and open to the public. It has a gear and trail review section where you can add your own reviews etc. Its worth checking out.
