Taught my youngest (8) how to use Map and Compass. Started out hot the clouuds rolled in around 2. Started hearing thunder on way back so hustled into car, It then started hailing hard marble sized balls. I saw lightning hit peak between Antler and Dege, hope no one was on it as it was crowded today. We saw a male blue grouse about 1' from the trail drumming in full display, it was truly spectacular!

I started early without a cloud in the sky. I did Fremont Lookout, Skyscrper Mt. and then ran the ridge and climbed up Second Burroughs and looped out. By the time I was on top the weather really came in. I was glad to be back down to Frozen Lake when the thunder started.
I passed an awful lot of people still heading up as the weather was turning ugly. I didn't see the lightning and I too hope it managed to miss all those people.
