I am not sure how y'all feel about plugging a website on here, but I recently started a website covering the trails of the Mount Shasta area:

hikemtshasta.com

Updates can be followed here.

It is not up to speed yet, but it is already more comprehensive than anything else available for the area.

If this kind of plug is frowned upon, I apologize. I hope y'all find the site useful!

Looks like a nice site -- doesn't bother me. A better place to put it might be in the "Links" section.

The links section is where posts go to die. frown.gif  This is better to let people know you exist.  biggrin.gif  But you should also post in the links section, so that when someone needs your link, they can find it. And thanks for posting, hiking is what this website is supposed to be about.  up.gif

Finding useful, hand made websites like yours and JimK's are near impossible these days. Please add it to the links page - I have been quietly collecting sites like these for my own website and will eventually port it over to nwhikers

I am expanding the coverage area for my site, hikemtshasta.com, to cover areas a little further afield from Mount Shasta. The first area I am building up is the Trinity Alps. The Canyon Creek Trail is the initial page. I hope this becomes a helpful resource in the future!
