oh boy It's ugly, uncomfortable or at least cramped, no space to carry anything, not enough clearance for even a gravel road..... I think I would rather pay the additional for a design that is at least slightly practical. Anyway, someone is claiming to get 623 mpg on fuelly.com for their BMW X3 diesel Gotta love the internet.

Yes but with the money you save on gas, you can buy a high clearance mountain bike that will get you there the rest of the way. drink.gif

and have a place to actually carry a mtn bike. I don't even see a way to carry a bike in or on that thing. Obviously designed to hit a number, not meant for actual real world use.

A few years ago I read about Ford having a 3 cylinder diesel engine, similar to VW Jetta (?), in Europe that had a 65mpg rating. If my memory is correct, they did not introduce it in the US since it would cost them too much to retool their plants and the cost to import the vehicle was too great.

And with a whopping 2.6 gallon gas tank you really don't get much more range than you get with a normal car with a decent sized tank. I was hoping to be able to drive to Miami on a tank of gas.... frown.gif
