Although I tried to "think big" for my last hike, the current forecast & conditions had Gimpilator telling me that we should "think small" for any hike this weekend. A short while later, he told me he found the perfect choice... Miniature Mountain. It is not surprising if any person reading this trip report is not familiar with Miniature Mountain. Standing at an astoundingly miniscule elevation of 1440'+, Miniature Mountain is dwarfed by such nearby wannabe giants as Siberia Mountain, Blue Mountain, and Olo Mountain. Although tiny by size standards, Miniature Mountain is a "true" mountain by prominence standards (440' of clean prominence). In pouring rain (almost monsoon-like), and even rain & snow mixed, we scurried like itsy-bitsy mice along logging roads, into pipes, & finally up a wooded hilltop. It was only 3.5 miles and two hours roundtrip; unusually dinky for either of us yet surprisingly still a pleasant outing.
It's sometimes OK to think small!

I definitely consider myself a peakbagger but you guys put me to shame. I can say, with confidence, that I will never summit Miniature Mountain.
