My wife and I are new to the area and are interested in backpacking the enchantments this summer. We would like to do the trip with others/meet some new friends. Anyone interested in entering the lotto w/ us or have a recommendation on a good way to find others looking to do the same? I hear these permits are highly coveted - we have all of August available for 2-3 day trip. Thanks!

We are looking to do either Snow Lake or Eight Mile (not to the Core with a 2 yr old ??I think, based on what I've read that is family friendly).

I went up with a 6 month-old once. The parents took turns keeping the baby while the other climbed for the day. It worked out well and we entered via Aasgard.
