What are you doing?

Touron is a nougat of Arabic origin made with almonds and honey or sugar, without which it would just not be Christmas in Spain.

These all sound like fun things I'll get to do when I don't have any young children. Someday. Well, outside of the cooking part, but I do that every day, three times a day. And I try to read the book, but I can do about a page before "MOM!" We got to go to a 4yr old's birthday party today. That's something. smile.gif

Working and reminiscing about when it was called Decoration Day as people would "decorate" the graves of those who had died in service to the country.

I just finished thinning my buddy's sequoia - it's just a teenager, about 40' tall. (Figured that counts as "gardening.")

Bikepack overnighter into the plateau above Joe Watt w/ the kid Saturday night. As usual, it's taking a couple days and nights of sleep, laundry, and grocery-getting to recover in time for another week of school and work.

I think I have you beat. I was getting straight time while at work... I knew I should have booked tickets out to Seattle so I could take advantage of the long weekend! rant.gif

Right now, thanking my lucky stars that we dodged a SEVERE thunderstorm, containing great quantities of large hail, rain and tornadoes! Also, just finished "The Measure of a Mountain" - Beauty and Terror on Mt Rainier, by Seattle author, Bruce Barcott. Good book.

Go placidly amid the noise and waste, and remember what comfort there may be in owning a piece thereof.

I took some acid. Now I'm hiding in the dark basement closet. All these tiny cute smiling dogs are crawling up my leg with knives in their teeth, but I'm afraid to put on my clothes and go up to get the dog treats because my guardian angel might see me and make me go to work.

Some people have better things to do with their lives than walking the dog. Some don't.
