I am considering a ski/climb of LT on Monday June 2. I would prefer not to go solo, but if I do I'll skip the summit and just ski Fryingpan glacier and hit Panhandle Gap. I'll have to go Sunday afternoon to get a permit and will truck camp for an early start on Monday. Unfortunately I will be in Canada all day Saturday so can't do this on Sunday because of the permit situation. Disclaimer: I am old and not so fast so this will be a long day, I don't plan on camping. 12-15 hours plus? My real concern is the summit climb, I would like a placebo tie in I think.
