Zoe Muth at the Tractor Tavern last night. She's a local, talented singer and songwriter. Makes more authentic country music than whatever it is they're cranking out of Nashville these days. |

Went to the Seattle Symphony tonight, the featured piece was Vivaldi's Four Seasons. I've wanted to see a performance of it for a long time, I finally got the chance. It was very enjoyable. |

Wow! Just saw Portland-based Blitzen Trapper in Leavenworth last night. A "rockin' folk" style, perhaps, if you care to categorize. They are on their way to B'ham today, Vancouver, Seattle and back to Portland in the coming days. Grab a show if you get the chance.

Glad to see this get bumped. I didn't make it to any concerts all summer/fall. Some on my radar early next year. |

Finally made it a show, it's been quite a while. Saw the Wailin' Jennys in Edmonds tonight. A Canadian folk trio, all with lovely voices and they harmonize really well. Wonderful concert. They haven't been in the Northwest for probably 4 years. I figured I better take advantage while they're here so I'm following them to Mt. Vernon tomorrow. |

I saw Bob Dylan on his recent tour stop in Seattle. I was a bit apprehensive since he can be hit and miss live. It was a great show and I'm much more of a fan than I was.
At 73 he can still deliver with passion and grace.
Still hoping to see Leonard Cohen someday. |
