Touron is a nougat of Arabic origin made with almonds and honey or sugar, without which it would just not be Christmas in Spain.

Never heard any thunder but we had a nice short rain shower which the paper delivery person didn't see coming as the paper was not wrapped in plastic. This seems more like the weather they may have been talking about for yesterday which never materialized.

Another downpour. This is a cool weather system. The clouds are interesting as well.

Interesting cloud over Sperry, Vesper, and Big Four around 11:15 am today.

Driving home I had to use double speed wipers in Everett. Just a little rain on the Dickerman trail. Lots of thunder and rain just to the west.

Yep, boating the Boulder Run on the Sky we got hammered for a brief stretch with all sorts of atmospheric events...thunder, lightning, giant rain drops. Course, in Lunch Hole, Railroad, Aquagasm, etc. it don't really matter from which direction the wetness be coming from. Tom

This morning at around 4am, the lightning and thunder were just booming, right over the house. One second or less delay on the thunder. Was ever so glad not to be in a tent. The thundershower came immediately and rain hammered the roof. On the quivering dog jelly scale it was a 10 out of ten for sure.

Frosty, Lucky enough to live where it snows in the winter! smile.gif

Green Lake man struck by lightning, may be in the market for new phone. Be careful what you try to photograph!

Don't know about home but the storm moved through Eastern Oregon on Thursday night. Watched the storm for about 3 hours.

Thunder moving through the MRNP area intermittently on Saturday. That certainly makes crossing those wide open spaces exciting... paranoid.gif

a co-worker was up on Vesper Saturday, he showed me a picture of one of their party - the person's hair was standing straight up from the static electricity. They made a run for it and luckily didn't get hit.

Since I have no expectations of forgiveness, I don't do it in the first place. That loop hole needs to be closed to everyone.
