You lucked out with the clouds Mike, when I was there Sunday morning it was clear, but that made for good skiing later in the day!

I tried to guide my brother up the Emmons a couple days ago. He bonked at about 11,000, so we didn't make the summit, but that meant we could sit and really enjoy the beautiful sunrise, which I've never been able to do while motoring up.

dawn on royce peak is beautiful Jason, very calm and cool. I like the subtle color/cloud on the right and the pattern of rocks leading to the peak. Mike, did you really combine images from two lenses into this shot? Will, ditto my comments to Jason on A little after sunset
