Hey Alpine - How ya been? I'll be looking forward to seeing you, on the trail, sometime soon !! Some of these Washington trips might be just the thing, to split the travel. Any sign of Chas? He kinda disappeared, after the Yoho trip. I'll have to shoot him an email and see what's up. I haven't even seen his photos, yet.

It worked... i might just have lured some 'ol buddies to this board! Welcome Alpine...glad you found us. Oh... and I FINALLY found that famous picture from the beach trip.. you know, the "special" tree that you pointed out to me?! Thing is, the scanner is put away (i hate the wretched thing) so it may still be a while till I get around to getting it on line...boy did i start laufghing when i came across it though.. ahhh.. the memories! Hope you get out and get some hiking done soon!

Thanks Otter! You too B.C. It's looks like there's a wealth of Washington knowledge around here. Who knows, it may motivate to come north more often! Ah, the "special" tree! I haven't thought about that for quite awhile. LOL! It actually kind of defies description. It's probably best to wait for Otter to post the picture. Let's just say that it had a unique profile. Something to do with facing into the wind, perhaps?! wink.gif
