Cool vid!
I get hawks making runs at my RC sailplane quite often. They seem more territorial than eagles, which will actually soar along side the plane now and then.

There was a whole collection of similar videos linked in a Metafilter post a few days ago. A couple videos looked like the operator was actively pursuing birds before being attacked...

Just more obnoxious toy junk. That would be another extremely boring hobby.

Totally! Go Hawks! ~z
Edit: Just as we noted in another thread. Then it was Go Rams! I am eager to see a crocodile get one.

Yeah, that was pretty lousy behavior. Part of the problem we're having in the RC world is cheap tech has accelerated the entry of folks with no real understanding of what they're doing beyond hey, I can open the box and go fly. In the past you had to do the community thing, put in your time building and learning, and along the way you'd soak up the do's and dont's of flying safety and etiquette. Stuff like don't buzz civilians, don't buzz the flight line, don't buzz anyone, don't buzz cars, the road, or buildings, don't hassle birds.
Now you open the box on your autopilot and GPS equipped quad rotor, and you're off to do whatever enters your mind at any given moment. And what enters is usually buzz people, the flightline, cars, roads, buildings, birds. The novelty of flight has to be demonstrated to everyone and everything in sight.
As for birds of prey, when my bunch is soaring we give em wide latitude and never chase. They gotta eat and hunting is hard, leave 'em alone. That said, as I noted, the eagles tend to not really care and they'll actually come over to check things out. Hawks on the other hand can be pretty aggressive, and they'll cross a lot of sky to come make a run at you.
Years back we had a very friendly couple of eagles, here are some pics...
