I am a self proclaimed lava lover. I spent time on the Big Island and very much was fascinated by lava flows and anything volcanic ( which is just about everything geologic in Hawaiin....) and the amazing terrain there. Here is a link to Hawaii Volcanoes Observatory web site which has truly remarkable pictures of the recent flow now entering Pahoa town on the southeast corner of the Big Island.
