I am a self proclaimed lava lover. I spent time on the Big Island and very much was fascinated by lava flows and anything volcanic ( which is just about everything geologic in Hawaiin....) and the amazing terrain there. Here is a link to Hawaii Volcanoes Observatory web site which has truly remarkable pictures of the recent flow now entering Pahoa town on the southeast corner of the Big Island. On the national news yesterday, they showed eerie video of the flow going through a Buddist cemetary and flowing around the tombstones....wow....
