How are your sinuses? I've been feeling weird all day. Cliff Mass Post from today.

Seattle's pressure this morning (1045.5 hPa) is THE ALL TIME RECORD FOR ANY DATE. The old record was 1043.1 hPa set on December 1, 2011.

My Grandpa's old anaeroid reads 30.45 in Hg, highest mark I've made. My Brunton altimeter put me 200' below sea level (normally 400').

My barometer was the same. I noticed the gap, having been away for a few days. I reset the needle and wondered how high is high here. Good to see Prof Mass confirming what my sinuses say the beach was stunning these last few days and not an ounce of wind.

The thread topic should include "recorded" as well as Cliff Mass's quote. Who is to say what took place before someone started writing the readings down.
