Ecuador or Chile...I'm down for either and open to any length of time 2 weeks or more. Ideally 1 month if we went to Chile.
Feel free to reply if interested. I have lots of ideas/interests for stuff to climb and places to visit.
Matt,
I plan to be just over the Chilean border in San Martin de los Andes, Argentina for most of March if you are in the south. Hoping to climb el Volcan Lanin as well as do some day hikes in the area during my stay.
I'm on a family trip, so I can't commit to anything too grandiose. Lanin is a two-day trip at most. Kind of like Mt Hood but 300 meters higher. I tried it several years ago, but the weather did not cooperate.

I can connect you with a local Argentine climbing buddy from that report who is keen to get out for something longer for the second part of Feb. He's closer to your age, strong and rearing for action.
You might even be able to convince him to cross over to Chile.
I have a 10 month-old daughter that keeps me close to home for now.
oh wow! yeah that sounds awesome. I would be very interested in coming down. I will look at plane tickets now. Are you going to be with your family in Chile most of March?
And yeah I'd love to climb with a local friend. I wasn't able to find anyone to climb with last time I was down there.
PM sent.
