Supposed to be well under 2.00 in Missouri. Shall we go fill up?

I heard a rumor it's under $2 in cle elum.
Older sister said something about it yesterday went I popped over to Roslyn for dinners (yep, had two). Had gas in the tank enough to get me back and then some so didn't bother putting another 4 miles on the odometer. Anyway, don't remember what the price was.

HaHa! Yeah, I know that! The Nebraska scenery isn't quite the same as the Pac NW scenery that's for sure. Still, we are finding some fun spots to explore here.
The Dakota badlands look interesting with Harney Peak Lookout. That and the "city of the Presidents" in Rapid City and their "signing of the Declaration" diorama. http://watch.sdpb.org/video/2365336492/ So if South Dakota has all that I'd bet Nebraska has some neat stuff too. Every state is different in it's own unique way.

I didn't have enough gas in the car to make it from Wenatchee to Cle Elum to see if the rumors were true so ended up stopping at the Shell station on hiway 2 just East of the 97 junction. My car takes premium which was listed at $2.63 which still isn't bad. I put in my Kroger club member number and it gave me $1/gal discount! Glad I bought most of my Christmas stuff at Fred Meyer! So, filled up on premium at $1.63 gallon. Wished I'd had a few gas cans with me...

It's official. 1.93 in Cle Elum. Un-branded is far cheaper than the branded (of course) news article

I'm a man, I can change, if I have to, I guess.

What is diesel running these days? The diesel contingent seem to be pretty quiet during all this.

Price of "freedom" is now less than half what it was a few months ago.. surprisingly the economy is not picking up, and/or is about the same as it was before the price reduction. People (journalists and pols) do seem to be concerned about the gas companies. Must be time for a bail-out!

It takes time for price changes to ripple through a market. The correct response to bailouts is the same regardless of the market...just say no.

I just filled up for 1.01 per gallon at freddy's...i had a dollar off rewards discount, jut returned from nidaho, gas there as low as 1.59 per gallon.

Go placidly amid the noise and waste, and remember what comfort there may be in owning a piece thereof.

2.12 here in Florida...

Take risks not to escape life, but to prevent life from escaping I may not have anyone rocking my world right now but, I don't have anyone messing it up either.
