I've seen lots of photos of logging up the Miller River like this one in the UW Collection but none on the mines. I've never seen a photo of the Hoodoo mine except in a private collection in Silverton.

Most of those old photos up the Skykomish were take by Lee Pickett. There's a museum full of his photos in Index but it's always been closed when I've stopped by. There's a new museum in Skykomish with quite a few photos of the area also.

A real kid-attraction at MC is the RR turntable, which still turns, making a most gratifying sound like a rhinoceros on bad acid or sawing a giant's tuba in half.

Some people have better things to do with their lives than walking the dog. Some don't.
