EDIT:  the best way to support this site is to remember to use our amazon shopping link at the top of the page whenever you shop at amazon.  If you do this, NWH will receive a % of your purchase.  The proceeds from the amazon link are more than covering our hosting costs so we have removed the donation link.

What does it cost to run this site?  Roughly $1/day which covers our web hosting and domain registration.

Just curious, who are you guys hosted by? I know $1 a day does not sound like much to you guys, but to me thats quite a deal.

We use pair.com.  They are not cheap but they have been reliable.

Tom,

If we use Amazon from this site but buy stuff with credit card points rather than a credit card does NWhikers still get a kickback?

It varies by category (see affiliate program link above for more details).  Over the last year the average has been running just under 5.5%.

That's better than I imagined.  I'll make sure to do Amazon purchases through the NWH link.  Thanks-
