Glen Livet Nadurra -- cask strength (whew!) 16 year single malt, directly from the London Heathrow duty free store. Best "sweetened" with a teaspoon or two of water!

Found a really good micro-brew in a can from Two beers brewing in Seattle, I have had their Evo Ipa and Amber ale, both excellent! up.gif up.gif About 7-8 bucks a 6 pack.

Go placidly amid the noise and waste, and remember what comfort there may be in owning a piece thereof.

Hofbrau Dunkel...still a few more days to celebrate Oktoberfest. drink.gif

Touron is a nougat of Arabic origin made with almonds and honey or sugar, without which it would just not be Christmas in Spain.

Been stuck over here in Spokanistan for a couple weeks now...found an excellent IPA by No Li Brewing Co in Spokane. Very malty, nice aroma, hoppy yet not harsh, plus excellent head and head retention. up.gif While staying at a hotel, the desk clerk told me of an excellent taproom and eatery near the south hill area, the Manito Taproom. They actually have a chef trained in the culinary arts, I had a chicken curry wrap that was outstanding...met a couple of cool hiker type people there too. up.gif Also on North Division, found an Asian food place called the Chinese Dragon, might be the best Asian Cuisine I have ever had.

A nice hoppy IPA (Space Dust by Elysian) with a splash of grapefruit Pelligrino soda. It is actually quite good - kinda randall like. Rec'd by a former brewer at Maritime.

An IPA with grapefruit? That's a different idea.

Usually not a fan of mixing anything into beer, but I might have to try this one. Sounds great. Like a Brass Monkey that grew up and started tasting good.
