Copper Creek is a fun steep little trail that is very pretty this time of year with the creek roaring alongside you as you climb up and up. We had the trail to ourselves for the entire morning and the weather was beautiful - warm and sunny. We hit the top ridge loop and turned to follow the way trail to the upper ridge which gives you some views of the Olympics. Last Summer we climbed to the summit of Lightning Peak and we were tempted to continue up there today, but sadly we had chores to attend to this afternoon so just enjoyed our lunch on the ridge and headed down.
About 6 miles and 3000 feet. Trail is in great shape!
