Only to pro sports? It's OK to buy a car from a company that employs a current or former domestic violence perpetrator? How about food from a farm? And why only that type of criminal, murderers are OK? Have you done criminal background checks on every person you have ever done business with? Then your singling out pro sports is based solely on your own internal issues, and has no basis in logic, common sense, or the law.
Notice I never said anything in support of the dirt bag in question.
