I'm looking for people to share the Ross Lake water taxi to Lightning Creek campsite sometime this summer. I want to spend, ?? 4-7 days up in there. As early as the snow melts-out a bit, maybe later. I'll be solo (with small dog) or perhaps a few companions. I can probably be flexible to accommodate your schedule. Last I heard, the taxi is $210 RT, by the trip, not per person, 6 people max. If it's a round-trip, we'd have to commit to a rendezvous at Lightning Creek for the return, but even if you're going only one-way, I might be able to go in with one group and go out with another. Send me a PM.

split 6 ways, $40 ea. Doesn't look like it's gonna happen. I wouldn't mind the long trek up the East Bank trail -- being well-suited to a life of mindless drudgery -- but I'm not sure my beast's gimpy leg could handle it. BTW that trail is practically a flat road, and you can really cruise fast.
