tk-421 -- Tell her you've got plans if the weather's good and the best times to visit are in inclement weather! Communication is a wonderful thing. Man, get some cahones!

You guys are brave if you believe the weekend weather predictions this early in the week. I learned from experience last year to set my weekend plans on Friday, if not Saturday morning. And even then it's still a crapshoot. tongue.gif

and the farther east one goes, the less brave and more optimistic one can be!

Hey! I don't want rain, I want cloudy. Big difference! tongue.gif I am dependent on the weather not to determine whether I go out, but where I go. On cloudy days I head for the forest, on sunny days for the mountains. For the weekend, I usually have 2 destinations in mind, hopefully not too far from each other, so I can head to one or the other depending on weather. With the fast changing weather on the west side, and all the microclimates I run into, sometimes I end up changing destinations half way there. eek.gif

Right after my kids' Saturday afternoon soccer games, we are out of here. It's a late start, but we have no problem headlamping if necessary. If the Issy School District and their teachers don't settle, we can stay out through Monday. If you're at some nice subalpine lake this weekend and you get woken up Saturday night by headlamps and a couple of squeaky voices stumbling around looking for a campsite, that's us.

My last 2 outings missed the sun by a day each. Kinda bummer except I look at it as getting ready for the winter stuff. Sooooo... to help you all out, I'm stayin' home, workin inside and have no plans for an outing. Now I know it'll be nice. Enjoy it. NN smile.gif Well, I may play it by ear. rolleyes.gif

It's pretty safe to say that if we take all of man kinds accumulated knowledge, we still don't know everything. So, I hope you understand why I don't believe you know everything. But then again, maybe you do.
