Anyone wanna pair of Atlas Snow Shoes Model Number 844 9'x36'. Never before been used. Been sitting in my closet, and I have come to the idea I won't be doing very much heavy snow packs anymore
$70 including shipping.
Thats a good deal, but if your a hard luck hiker that really needs em to get out, I would be willing to go down on the price alittle bit to the right person. If no one wants em I will ebay em, so let me know.
Looks like this exepct Its a Mod: 844

I don't know much about snowshoes, but I'm interested. What shoe sizes do they fit?

They are adjustable, as long as you don't have a extremly small foot they will fit ya.

If you aint savy with the snow shoes. Remeber that these are big shoes. You have to take your weight and your pack into consideration. I bought these cause I am pretty stocky person and I used to do heavy packs into snow. So if your a skinny person with a light pack, these shoes arent for you. You would want a smaller model. So you can PM me with the type of person you are, and if this aint for you, I could suggest a different model. This is a good deal, but if your real small, then big shoes would be more of a hassle than anything.

FYI, I have a very similar model for about four years now, love them very much. Light for their size, excellent flotation, design of the crampons reduces ice balling. Got them on a deep sale at REI, still a lot more than what LM is asking.

Lager, would they be too big for someone 5-9, 170 pounds who would be carrying only a daypack?

There rated *if I remeber right* 200-275. So that would put you on the low end of it. They would be ok. Would defintaly help you keep above the snow If you could handle the extra six inches, it wouldn't be a bad deal.

Wow. 36" is a really (really) long length for northwest snow. I once had 30" snowshoes and felt they were too big. Perhaps these are better suited to someone residing in Alaska.
