That's true. I guess it was about 10 years back now (on the day of the MLB All-Star game), there was that monster squall that ripped right through the Sound, dumped several inches of rain in probably less than an hour. We literally had a river washing down our driveway, slamming into the garage door (a little seeped under even), then it funneled through our porch, coming about and inch from entering the front door, around the house, over a little stone wall, making a neat little waterfall (and a big ol' foot deep pothole afterwards, then under the fence into the neighbor's yard. No idea where it flowed to eventually. Probably got all the way down to Peters Creek (I'm on Rose Hill). I wanna have another storm like that 'cause little neighborhood streams at flood stage are fun to watch. smile.gif

Your Washington sure sounds a lot like my BC! Can't wait for the snow...

Your B.C. gets more rain than our Washington! Although not by huge amounts! TB

Heh. I would have if I had a camera. I guess I was about 10 or 11 when that happened, and I believe I got my first (read crappy) camera when I was about 12. Now, if we can only get some overcast when I can get out so I can play with the fall colors... agree.gif
