Saturday was a great day for a long ridge walk. The Mt. David trail is in terrific shape. If 16 miles and 5700' gained to a great view sounds good, this is the trail to do. I have a full report and three pages of phootos up on my site. Click the "Hiking Northwest" link at the bottom of this post. Go to "Trips-2002" on the left margin.

Jim, I'm really glad you posted this TR as it solved the question as to where to go next week with my son who'll be here from Virginia. Looks like just what the Dr. ordered. I really enjoyed your pics (as always) and do appreciate you sharing this one. Many thanks up.gif

We ran into a few inches of snow on Sunday up there. Bee careful -- long drop if you slip (only applies near the lookout site).
