What does land mine resistant mean though? Does the vehicle survive but it needs a new driver?
The bottom of the hull is armoured and shaped in such a way that it deflects the blast and shrapnel away. We'd better cool this thread though, lest it get locked for being off topic.

About three years ago, five of the camper Unimogs came through on the way north to Deadhorse. A German expedition of some kind. My German isn't that good, but they kept saying something about "Sudetenland" and "getting it right this time"? smile.gif
Were there any black helicopters with them. Maybe they were those UN troops who were supposed to invade Idaho a few years back lol.gif

I'd rather have one of these . . .
It's more bullet proof, more land mine resistant and more safe at ANY trailhead, not to mention more mobile. It also uses the same engine as Backpacker Joe's Jetta. On the down side it's not street legal frown.gif

Nice! The multi-fuel capability is a big plus, but the top speed leaves something to be desired wink.gif It would take a while to get from Seattle to most Cascade trailheads.

Ok how about this one. Do you like this one better?
