Stuck in Monroe on business last Thursday. Hungry and getting depressed at the choice of strip mall food. But what do I see? Curry Cabin $4.99 lunch buffet. Run by an Indian family. Quality food, good service, clean. Super value. reviews

There's a new restaurant in Marblemount in the building that used to be the store (next to the BBQ place). I had the best burger & fries that I've had in years. They don't have a liquor license yet so no beer to go with it. The place is huge so they hope for some large crowds.

Wait. I thought a Thai place went into the ex-grocery store location in Marblemount.

They do serve some Asian dishes too. The menu has a bit of variety. I forgot to mention - the name of the place is Mondo.

You guys are missing Wild Berry, Ashford, WA. (Hwy 7/706) Awesome burgers, Himalayan food, and Yak Burgers. http://www.thewildberry.net Has replaced Copper Creek for me. Easier to get into and just as impressive food in my opinion.

Copper Creek was always too pricey for what they dished out. Wild Berry just can't seem to stay open! Hope they do okay this time around!

Our breakfast (food and service) was abyssmal. Must have been a different cook and waitstaff that day??? Dry toast, eggs from a carton, rubbery cheese. Awful. I usually don't complain about food.

We tried out the Trainwreck Bar and Grill in Burlington last night. I did not like what I ordered but my 2 buddies loved their good so I will be going back to give it a second try. Okay beer selection, they had Boundary Bay IPA so good in my book.

I see Annie's Pizza made the list - Amazing pies there!! Also, I often find, coming out of a Chuckanut Highway hike, I end up stopping at Win's Drive-In down in Fairhaven/Bellingham (quite guiltily, I may add!!), for a Super Deluxe Cheeseburger and a butterscotch milkshake (yeah, completely undermines anything I did on the trail, but oh so yummy!!). They also have great fries and fish and chips to die for. I used to live two blocks up from the place, and it's a nice little local haunt.
